“Checking-in” with YYT: St. John’s Board of Trade CEO Chats with New St. John’s International Airport Authority CEO on Importance of Air Access to Business Community

St John’s, NL, June 19th, 2023 - Today, the St. John’s Board of Trade is hosting an event for their members and the wider business community. During the event, CEO of the St. John’s Board of Trade, AnnMarie Boudreau will sit down with the new CEO of the St. John's International Airport Authority, Dennis Hogan for a candid conversation centered around the airport's current & future priorities, the challenges and opportunities with air access and its impact to our economy.

The Checking-in with YYT | A Conversation on Air Access & Business in St. John's event aims to bring together stakeholders to foster important conversations that will illuminate possible solutions to sustainably increase air access for our province. “When you live and work on an island, the availability of air access has a significant impact on how you do business,” said AnnMarie Boudreau, CEO, St. John’s Board of Trade.

“This conversation presents a wonderful opportunity to talk about an extremely relevant and timely issue, and we are excited to chat with Mr. Hogan about some of the potential solutions the airport has planned. We strongly support initiatives that improve air connectivity and infrastructure, and we're committed to working with all levels of government and industry stakeholders towards this goal.”
