As the Manager of Communications and Engagement with the St. John’s Board of Trade, Amanda is focused on sharing essential information with and about our members – connecting people and businesses in authentic conversations. Amanda is a skilled communications professional with extensive experience in values-based engagement, internal communications, crisis response, strategic planning, and storytelling. She is passionate about making our community more equitable, shopping local, and experiencing all our beautiful province has to offer.
Our Manager of Finance and Compliance is responsible for maintaining the day-to-day financial control of the Board and ensuring that all the finances are properly administered and monitored with the assistance of the CEO and the Secretary/Treasurer. Duties include accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, budgets, and financial statements. Jennifer also ensures the Board is in compliance with all regulatory bodies relating to all government agencies. Jennifer is also a member of the Treasurer’s Committee and is the staff-support to the Secretary/Treasurer.
