For Immediate Release

St. John’s, NL, August 10, 2021 – The St. John’s Board of Trade is excited to welcome Katrina Kum to the team as Manager of Business Development and Member Success.

Katrina brings over twenty years of experience in marketing, sales strategies, business development, corporate events, and more to this new role.

“Katrina is going to be a wonderful addition to our team,” said AnnMarie Boudreau, CEO, St. John’s Board of Trade. “She has proven success in building strong relationships with stakeholders, clients, and partners, and our members will benefit tremendously from her experience and expertise.”

Katrina is joining the St. John’s Board of Trade team on the heels of AnnMarie Boudreau taking the role of CEO in July 2020 and Amanda Eid joining as Manager of Communications and Engagement in October 2020, marking an interesting time of transition and a refreshed phase of member support and focus.

“I am excited to join the Board of Trade at such a pivotal time of growth and opportunity,” said Katrina Kum, Manager of Business Development and Member Success, St. John’s Board of Trade. “The support and opportunity that the St. John’s Board of Trade provides to its members is tremendous and I believe we can do even more as we continue to recover from COVID-19 and as we share our refined benefits with our members. I am looking forward to meeting our members and learning how we can assist them now and into the future.”

Katrina will be bringing an enhanced member and partnership structure to members upon their renewal dates starting in September 2021. This new structure considers what members and partners need to grow and thrive—incorporating the organization’s historic mandate with modern day business needs.

“We know the more money and time our members can save, the better. Like them, we’re focused on the bottom line—leveraging our extensive networking opportunities and the power of the collective to help our members succeed,” said AnnMarie Boudreau, CEO, St. John’s Board of Trade. “I am excited for Katrina to take the work we have been doing over the last number of months and bring it to both new and existing members.”
