About Us
RIMS, the risk management society, empowers risk professionals to make the world safer, more secure, and more sustainable. RIMS and its 80 chapters serve more than 200,000 risk practitioners and business leaders from over 75 countries.
Established in 1981, the primary objective of the Newfoundland and Labrador Chapter of RIMS is to welcome Risk Professionals and offer the opportunity to connect and learn and through networking, professional development, certification, advocacy, and research that assists individuals with advancing their personal and professional development.
The Newfoundland and Labrador Chapter of RIMS hosts a series of educational and social events for its members on an annual basis and routinely participates in volunteer and other charitable initiatives.
