Job Overview

We are looking for a dedicated Truck Driver to safely transport goods while adhering to safety regulations and company policies. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of Class 1 experience or 1 year of flatbed/open deck experience. Candidates must have a valid work permit, PR, or citizenship (we cannot provide LMIA). We can offer support for candidates under the AIP program after one year of work as we are an AIP-designated company.
 
Key Duties:

• Safely operate commercial trucks to pickup and deliver freight.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Load/unload cargo using forklifts/heavy equipment when needed.
• Keep accurate delivery and vehicle logs.
• Communicate with dispatchers, clients, and team members.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance and minor repairs as needed.
• Adhere to traffic laws and drive safely in various conditions.

• 2 years of Class 1 driving experience or 1 year of flatbed/open deck experience.
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL).
• Basic English communication skills required.
• Clean driving record.
• Familiarity with freight handling and safety procedures.
• Ability to perform minor vehicle repairs is a plus.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Must be able to secure loads with straps and/or chains.
• Must know how to tarp loads properly.
