Summary
At First Light, learning is relational: rooted in story, experience, and community guidance.
As the Knowledge Sharing Coordinator, you support the development, coordination, and delivery of immersive learning experiences designed to deepen public understanding of Indigenous cultures, histories, rights, and contemporary realities. You help advance First Light’s shift toward Experiential Learning by shaping program content, strengthening internal systems, and ensuring offerings remain culturally grounded, relationally accountable, and community driven.
Working closely with the Manager of Knowledge Mobilization, you coordinate the flow of knowledge, processes, and planning needed to deliver high-quality learning experiences aligned with advocacy priorities and community-identified goals. You supervise the Knowledge Sharing Guide and the Experiential Learning Developer and collaborate with Elders, Knowledge Holders, and staff across First Light to support culturally safe and trauma-informed programming.
You also play a key role in the development of experiential programming at the Lunar Inn, helping ensure that learning experiences offered in the space are well-structured, culturally grounded, and aligned with its purpose as a site of cultural hospitality and Indigenous-led learning.
