As we face challenging times in a softening economy, tax increases are a concern for the St. John's Board of Trade and its membership. 

We are equally concerned with the planned removal of the vacancy allowance set to take effect in 2018.

The City must focus on finding efficiencies, embracing new innovations and less on finding new revenue sources.
