As Thrive’s Marketing and Development Manager, you will be responsible for the development and evaluation of marketing strategies and build brand awareness of Thrive within the community, government and corporate sectors. You will lead business development initiatives, generate leads in all markets, and increase overall funding to support the organization. You will work closely with Thrive’s Executive Director and Board members to effectively execute the organization’s marketing and development strategy.
Duties include:
· Ensure a consistent brand image across all elements of the organization
· Prepare fundraising materials, reports and presentations
· Lead the implementation of the marketing and development strategy
· Facilitate increased relationships and collaborations for Thrive
· Oversee donor recognition and retention
· Manage all media and corporate relations
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Marketing, Public Relations or another relevant field
· Five years’ experience in marketing, development and communications
· Experience in private or corporate industries considered an asset
· Excellent communication and networking skills
· Criminal Record Screening Certificate and Vulnerable Sector Check are required
Compensation and benefits: Starting salary for this position is $64,000, plus an excellent benefits package
