Accommodations Coordinator

Quin-Sea Fisheries, a division of Royal Greenland is a leading fish processing company based in Newfoundland and Labrador that has provided quality North Atlantic Seafood to markets around the globe for over 35 years. Quin-Sea operates six seafood-processing facilities in the province with a wide array of local species.

Currently, Quin-Sea Fisheries is looking for an Accommodations Coordinator at our location in Old Perlican for the 2023 season, contract duration will be April – October. We are seeking a motivated, confident, and hard-working individual who thrives in a busy environment.

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Main Point of Contact for all facility / room issues
2. Uphold accommodations and workplace health and safety standards
3. Ensure compliance with relevant policies and procedures and house rules
4. Maintain spreadsheet of all inventories and ensure timely ordering and restocking
5. Laundry - Wash, sort, fold and distribute linens and kitchen towels
6. Maintain an organized, clean, and presentable space for everyone.
7. Get approval for and coordinate any necessary repairs for the facility.
8. Keep entrances and emergency exits clear
9. Conduct regular inspections of accommodations.
10. Keep track of all assigned keys and make new keys if necessary
11. Maintain open communication with housed employees, and/or company representatives
12. Other duties, projects, reports as assigned by management

Key Qualifications include:

• Highschool diploma or equivalent
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbal and written
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and multi-task
• Ability to maintain confidential information as it relates to personnel functions and sensitive business information
• Flexibility and availability in schedule are required during the week, including weekends and holidays (occasionally work extended hours during the busy season)
