As COVID-19 numbers decline, more employers are considering reopening their physical workplaces and having their employees return. This will require employers to not only consider how to protect the physical health of their staff, but their mental health as well. Workers may experience stress associated with returning to the workplace, as well as the changes that have occurred in the workplace itself.
In this workshop, John Dinn, Workplace Mental Health Coordinator with the Canadian Mental Health Association, will share tools to support organizations and their employees during this challenging transition. This workshop will provide information on supporting employees currently working from home and struggling with thoughts about returning to the workplace, as well as guidelines that may help employers develop a return to work plan that supports the mental health of its staff.
