DESCRIPTION:Shave for the Brave is back and in-person this year at the Avalon Mall\, St. John's on April 5\, 2025 from 11 a.m.-12 p.m. Be a part of this fun event by supporting one of our amazing Shavers or by registering yourself for the Shave for the Brave at the Avalon Mall!\n\n\n\nThe Mall Shave is a powerful one-day event that brings together hundreds of Shavers\, their family and friends\, and mall visitors for the most powerful haircut of their lives. \n\n\n\nOver 8\,000 young adults are diagnosed with cancer every year in Canada\, that's just over 22 young adults a day. All donations to Shave for the Brave help Young Adult Cancer Canada (YACC) provide programs\, resources\, and community to young adults diagnosed with cancer under the age of 40 and currently between 18-39.
