DESCRIPTION:Overview:\n\n\n\nOver the past two years\, the SJBOT's Board of Directors has undergone a process to update and modernize our association's by-laws. This process has been led by the Governance Committee of the Board and has taken into consideration best practice for governance and building a diverse\, successful Board of Trade that reflects its membership.\n\n\n\nWe have prepared a notice letter outlining the most significant changes that the committee is proposing for vote at a Special Meeting on November 22\, 2022.\n\n\n\nClick here to review the letter and by-laws\n\n \n\n Voting Procedure:\n\n\n\nThe Board of Directors is proud to present the revised by-laws of the SJBOT to the Membership for vote at a special meeting scheduled for November 22\, 2022 at 12:00pm.\n\n\n	Any member in good standing with the SJBOT is eligible to attend and vote at the special meeting. Each member company is permitted one vote.\n	Voting will happen via the Election Buddy platform\; when registering for the meeting you will be asked to provide your name\, company name and cell phone number. During the special meeting\, ballots will be distributed via text and votes can be cast in real time.\n	The special meeting will be virtual. Members must register to attend.
