DESCRIPTION:As identified in The Way Forward\, the Office of the Chief Information Officer has entered into a three-year agreement with Flextrack Inc. to implement a new Managed Service Provider (MSP) model.\n\n\n\nUnder the new model\, Flextrack will serve as the central agent to match OCIO's IT and IM contract resource requirements with service providers.\n\nWhat does this mean?\n\nThe adoption of this new model will provide opportunities for more vendors to conduct work on public sector IT/IM initiatives and the OCIO looks forward to building constructive relationships with a larger pool of vendors.\n\nFlextrack's Vendor Management System (VMS) will soon be used to distribute requests for work and manage contracts. All IT/IM vendors who wish to compete for OCIO contracts must register with Flextrack (there is no registration cost) to be eligible for opportunities.
